I also can't catch the car at all if I happen to come out too hot. I don't know if I'm accelerating too early, too hard (or both) and have to basically guess. No understeer nightmare at least.Ĭorner exit acceleration still tells me nothing.
Slow down and the vibration goes away and the corner is taken better/at correct speed. Not great, but at least now the wheel tells me when I'm going in too hot into corners by vibrating artificially on turn in. Even though there is nothing felt in the wheel, I could drive better.ĭesperate as I am, I set the slip effect to 20%. Not bad actually, at least for the BMW Z4 GT3. At least the visual cues were more obvious, 33%. Calculated FOV would be 19 for my case which is nose-on-window territory LOL.īut I'm desperate. I like the FOV at about 50-ish (car dependent). At least I can brake okay with the T3PA pedals, but that's as far as I can get my settings right. I managed to get the brake pedal working decently by setting the brake "gamma" to 1.0. I tried the "Enhanced understeer option" but it doesn't offer me any more information while driving. To 150% FFB gain with everything to maximum. Anywhere from 20% FFB gain with everything else to 0%. I have tried a multitude of FFB settings. If I'm on the outside, I'm in the grass/gravel/barrier since I have no feel what is happening on track. If I'm on the inside I mostly just understeer. Fighting with someone through a corner is impossible since I have to keep looking at my speeds & track, and not at the opponent position. It's all just visual cues (and checking the speedo), and by then it's mostly too late to correct corner speeds. I don't feel the tyres and road at all so I have no idea if I'm going in too hot into a corner, or if I can push more. I realize AC FFB is different from PC2, both which are different from any other SIM as well.Īnyway, in AC the cars all feel like on ice.
However, I want to race online in AC sometimes, but for the life of me I can't get the feeling right with my T150 wheel. I normally race in Project Cars 2, and have dialed in my preferred settings and I have good response from the car, tyres, road etc.
